An Overnight Cliffside Portaledge Stay

Do you dream of sleeping suspended in mid-air near the Route des Crêtes?

It's possible! We offer a multi-pitch climb with an overnight stay in a portaledge!

The portaledge is an essential piece of equipment for big wall climbing, like in Yosemite. Climbers and mountaineers have used them as wall tents for bivouacking on cliffs.

This experience offers an adventure in the Verdon Gorge with its immense and majestic cliffs. You'll have a breathtaking view of the magnificent river flowing beneath your feet. Above your head, you can admire the vultures.

At the end of the day, you'll enjoy a unique hot meal with a front-row seat to a magnificent landscape while watching the sunset.

We'll begin the rappel descent in the afternoon, then start our climb to reach the bivouac. We'll cook using our small camping stove. We will then settle into the portaledge for a night in the heart of the Verdon Gorge. At sunrise, you will enjoy a delicious breakfast, and then we will complete the multi-pitch climb to reach the summit.

This adventure is suitable for experienced climbers who are not afraid of heights.
